Do I need to bring my original documents for a sworn translation at the Court of Rome?

Question: I am looking for a certified and official translation in Italian which will be used in a citizenship application, to the Ufficio Cittadinanza.

I have some Canadian documents in a certified long form (international format), which I would like to get translated and certified.  Please let me know if this is something you are able to help with.

Answer: Sure, you can send me the scanned copy of your documents for a quote for the translation into Italian.

If you want to proceed with the translation service, I require payment in advance by PayPal or bank transfer. In case your documents are in digital form, I will print them out and bring them directly to the Court of Rome. If you have the original documents in printing instead, we can arrange a meeting so you can bring them to my office, along with the revenue stamps required by the Court for sworn translations (one €16 revenue stamp per document, maximum 4 pages long).

Question: I will need to present the original documents to the Ufficio Cittadinanza of Rome, will you be doing the translation directly on the documents?

If so, maybe I better bring the originals in person to your office as you suggested.

Answer: The translations shall be attached to the original documents that you are going to present to the Ufficio Cittadinanza.

Therefore, I need you to bring them to my office, along with the revenue stamps (marche da bollo €16 – one per document). We can arrange a time when it suits you.
